Work

Work. We spend our whole life doing it. We work so we can afford to take time off.  The funny thing is we are so accustomed to working that we even end up working on our vacations because of the cell phone and the ability to get internet connection everywhere. We are forever connected to the office, and the world around us. We are on call to our jobs 24/7, I myself use my phone as an alarm clock. So it is close to my head when I sleep, giving my boss the ability to reach me at all times. This is not intended but it's the way of the world. I've been on trips where I'd look around at the people with me and I'd see them grab their legs thinking the phone rang. We were far out of cell range. It appears to me that people have lost the ability to enjoy themselves without the internet or cell phones. What happened to humanity?
